3. Curtains are much easier to keep clean — Blinds collect dust like you wouldn’t believe. The dust is much more visible on blinds as well. This means a lot of extra house work. It is embarrassing to have company over and have a thick layer of dust covering your blinds. To avoid this will require weekly cleaning. Curtains, on the other hand, do not show the dust. You can keep them clean with a vacuum cleaner or an occasional dry cleaning. However, if you don’t get around to running the vacuum over them for a couple of weeks you won’t have an embarrassing layer of dust to worry about.
Curtains have a way of blending in with your room in a way blinds do not. You can select curtains to enhance a room or contrast it.
